Jackson Hole sits inside one of the last true dark-sky corridors in the American West. On a clear night, the Milky Way arches overhead in full detail — no city glow, no light pollution, just the Tetons and the stars. Our resident astronomer guides your family through the night sky using a professional-grade telescope: find Saturn's rings, trace the craters of the Moon, spot distant galaxies, and learn the stories behind the constellations that have guided travelers across this valley for centuries. The session is designed for all ages — kids and adults alike will leave knowing exactly where to look when they step outside tonight.

Absolutely. This is one of our most popular family activities — children as young as 4 love looking through the telescope. Our astronomer adjusts the explanations to match the age of the group.
Sessions are weather dependent. If skies are overcast we will reschedule or offer a full refund. We monitor conditions closely and notify guests by early afternoon on the day of the session.
None at all. Our astronomer guides everything from scratch — this is designed for curious first-timers as much as enthusiasts.
